airport express who long has yours lasted?

Was going to buy an Apple Airport express from the apple website when I read through the user comments and loads of them said that the device fails just over a year after they bought it

Any owners here got similar stories?

No problems here. Got one when first released. Still running; never needs restarts. Never had any hardware problem with half a dozen other airports at work & home. But comments like this are not much help. There could still be a 10% failure rate. Even with a one tenth of a perecent failure rate, you will get lots of complaints posted online for an Apple product. Users are a vocal and well focussed community.

In the past, where Apple has had a product with a statistically significant failure rate (which is rare), they have implemented a replacement policy well beyond the end of the warranty.

Well over a year here. No problems whatsoever. I use it with a USB iTunes remote so I can fast forward/rewind songs by pointing the remote at the HiFi.

Marvellous equipment!

I've heard about the 12-24 months life cycle of these things as well... probably just coincidence.

I still plan on buying one shortly, anyway.
