Sagem HD50 problems, help please.
I've had a HD50 for about 6 months, was fairly happy with it. Recently it started displaying distorted text, its almost as though triangular shaped pixels instead of round ones. The problem is the same on all sources and even on menu text. I've had two engineer visits and to be honest they were useless. I'm now pressing Sagem to replace the set or authorise a refund. Could someone take a close up picture of some text such as the 'no signal' alert or maybe a picture of a digital input from a computer showing some text so that I can send the comparisons to Sagem

That’s what it should look like, I believe your find the small mirrors are triangles.
On older version they where squares

I've got two of these sets and it's the same on both, and I’ve had one in the past before it good swapped.
You can only see it like that if you stand up close to the screen

It is possible to "tune out" the gaps between the pixels by adjusting the wobulator.

If it had been like this since I had it I could accept that this was normal, however it just startred doing it one day, the problem also varies in seriousness, sometimes it makes text almost unreadable and other times its ok.

Re: Sagem HD50 problems, help please.
Can someone post a close up picture, preferably from a PC/Mac showing for example the menu bar. Sagem say there is nothing wrong with it, but either I'm going mad or the picture has suddenly got worse. I need to prove it one way or the other.
Thanks.

I can't get any closer than this the camera would be touching the screen
I'd say there's something definitely wrong there get in touch with sagem you can show them my picture for comparison.
Or go back to the shop you got it from.
Baring in might you won't be able to get an exchange
