freeview conection

this is probably a stupid question but its been bugging me for a while, i have a ex75 dvd recorder and i watch and record freeview through that, but now i am just about to get the px600 plasma and i was wondering do i need splitter for the rf and plug one into the tv and the other in the recorder, or do i use the rf out on the recorder to the tv?

i want to be able to record 1 freeview channel while watching the other, if this is possible

Only if the "px600" (whatever that is...we aren't all up to speed with makes/models ) has Freeview built-in.

sorry, yes the panasonic TH-42PX600 and the DMR-EX75EB-S both have freeview built in
