Seeking wireless media + dvd device, probably.

Hi,

Hope this is the right site and the right forum to come to. I'm looking to replace my deceased DVD player and I figure now would be a good time to look at getting a wireless media device too.

Has anyone got such a device?
Any recommendations, things to look for or avoid?

I was thinking of a media PC but I think that would be overkill. I've seen some HDD enclosures that look quite interesting but as it stands I would need to rip every DVD to it before being able to watch it, which could be a pain.

p.s. mac minis do look cute but I don't /really/ want to spend that much, and I have some DVDs I've picked up around the world I want to watch too.

Anyway, enough ramblings for now.
