Copy DVD to HD of DVD Player ?

Is there a DVD player with a HD that you could copy the DVD to the hard drive and watch it from there like a mini dvd streamer,

DVDs are copy protected as you know. I don't think there is a model supporting your request.

Well, of course there is e.g. Kaleidescape which is a media server specifically for this purpose but this starts around 25.000 USD being a fully professional solution for streaming DVD content around the house.
