data point splitters

Has any one used a splitter on a data point to use it for both a phone and broadband or too convert one data point in to 2. My problem is that at my tv l have only one data point which is for my xbox but would want another

Not sure what you mean by a "data splitter", but a network switch or hub should do the job.
