Harmony 885 + Sky HD issues

I have the remote set up for Sky HD as a Thomson DSI-8125. It works in all cases except the up,down, left and right buttons are not working. I have checked the software for these inputs and they seem to be correct agains the correct ones on the RC, done via the web

Anybody any ideas or had the same problem and over came it

Also you seem to need to press the buttons hard for them to register - any thoughts

Overall once these tiny niggles are over I think it will be agreat RC

Thanks

Sony 40KDL-w2000, Sony STR-DA1200ES, Sky HD, Wii, Xbox 360 + HD DVD add on

Re: Harmony 885 + Sky HD issues

hey, not a direct fix for your problem, but

try setting up the sky hd box as maunfacturer BskyB and the model Sky+ HD.

i've had absolutely no bother with my hd box.

All buttons seem to work as they should.

worth a try.

Did you check the assignments under the DEVICE or the ACTIVITY. You should be doing it for the activity(Activity->Customize->Change behaviour of buttons).
Also, even if the commands look right, try relearning them anyway.

Been in touch with Logitech, they seem to think the item is faulty, it is now being returned with hopefully a fully functional one on its way

Ok I've managed that but can't work out which button on the remote corresponds to the Backup button on the Sky remote. All well and good getting into the Sky Guide but a devil to get out of without that command!

I use the previous button for back up on my sky box, I think I learnt my Harmony to do this from the sky remote.

Sorted, the previous device profile I downloaded just wouldn't let me memorise a command on the Exit button, but your suggested profile does. So that's the basics done, now to have a little fiddle
