YSP - 800 remote issue

Hi,

I have a yamaha ysp - 800 sound projector.
My remote control has a small red led in top right hand corner that stays on permantly. meaning that when i press a button nothing happens. i have replaced batterys and tried lookin in side to see if anything is pressing against the chipset, but no joy.

Any thoughts or ideas where i can get a new one?

Probably a stuck or faulty button, causing the remote to send a signal continuously. You can check this with a digital camera, even a mobile phone camera. Look at the transmitter LED on the end of the remote - digital cameras can "see" infrared.
