Cancelled Sky - What to do with Sky+ Box?

I cancelled sky recently but have a number of programs on my Sky Plus box that I'd like to watch and/or burn in disc using my media centre pc.

When I try to play them, the sky box just says it's dsabled and to phone sky, I assume to re-subscribe which I don't want to do.

Does anyone know how I can get my programs off the sky box?

You cant . The data store on the HD is the un-decoded stream from the satellite . You need a current sub to view anything from the Hard Drive

Figures. Guess Sky don't want to pass up any chance of squeezing money out of someone.

There is a program (I believe called exract+) which will extract FTA recordings from your disk BUT this will certainly not work on any channels that required a viewing card and/or subscription as you would need something that can crack Sky's encryption system - all recordings on a Sky+ are recorded as a raw signal and decoded/decrypted on playback.
