Sky Digital - New customer offer

A friend of mine recently called Sky to arrange to have Freesat setup...He was told by the Sky salesperson that they are doing an offer at the moment, where rather than pay £150 for Sky freesat (inc card, digibox and installation) he could pay only £120 and also get 2 mix packages free for 12 months, after which time he could cancel the mix packages if he wished and revert back to normal freesat. Has anyone else heard of this offer, and know how long it is likely to last for? I am in the same boat, but since im moving home in the May/June, I was planning on waiting until then to get freesat setup. If this offer is going to end by then though, I am actually considering calling them already so I can take advantage of the 12 month free mix offer, which seems like a great deal!

Re: Sky Digital - New customer offer

And probably not a bad deal for Sky either, if by it they retain a sufficient proportion on a contract. O, I of little naivety have doubts if Sky are making the offer for my health .

BTW the question was asked on DS, if the offer could be obtained through independent installers. Seeing some of the comments (frequently complimentary about contrctors, that could be a good question, as well as does one get new or recon equipment.
