A huge sideshow box has just arrived at work for me,contains a premium vader statue, will post pics tonight when i get home:grin:

What about batteries mate?? does it take some of those also.

I think obi will be the next addition.

Ahh yes, I forgot about using batteries, I had to use the plug because it was always on and I was going through them to quickly.

it is a smart piece, ive opened the box and checked for tusk damage and there is none:thumbsup:
i will be assembling the dark lord later:cool:

yeah will be keeping my eyes open for a decent price on obi wan now.

cheers, the pics dont do it justice, its very big too, i ordered it from the forbidden plannet sale , came sealed in a sideshow box. cost me £149.99

Yeah it is the same, just I ordered something that was posted on Wednesday and was wondering how long other people deliveries took to arrive so I know when to expect it.

so are you for going with the batteries or mains in the long term, personally I didnt like the batteries at all for a few reasons, I wasn't keen in moving it when the batteries needed changed as well as their not that handy to get at the switches where I have them displayed compared to it being handy now as I have connected a switch outside the cabinet which will turn them both on or off at the same time

i ordered it on 29th december, the money went out yesterday and i recieved an email yesterday morning saying it was to be despatched, yesterday afternoon it arrived..but i was out.. great service.

never used r2dtoys, bit overpriced on somethings i thought.


gam i used the batteries tonight to test it but will use the powerpack soon, im thinking about trying to find an acrylic case for it?

Ive both Obi and Darth and they look very good.

However, ive always thought that the one flaw with this statue is that the crotch protector is too high :devil:
