wireless network question

just got a few questions,what i cant seem to find the answers for

i have a wireless router it is the linksys wrt54g,its a broadband wireless G one,is this good.iv had it for a while?

I will be using the router with either a pci card or a usb dongle,which do you recommend,which is most reliable.i dont really know how to install these,but if the pci card is alot better then i would install one.

iv seen some of the linksys usb dongles,theres the normal one which can be used with the router iv got,and theres another one,its basically the same but it says speed booster on the end of the name,will this be compatible with my router,or would i need a speedbooster router.

in the network,there will be only 2 computers,upstairs is where the router and modem will be,this computer will be connected directly to the router with an ethernet cable,and in the loft there will be the other computer (mine),i will be hooking up an xbox 360 in the loft aswell. the link from the router and my computer has to be wireless,it wouldnt be possible with wires.

how do you think i should connect it all,how would i connect my xbox 360 so i could go live.could i just connect that to the ethernet port on the back on my computer.

As regard to connecting everything up, this thread may be a better solution than going wireless Ethernet over Power devices (HomePlug)
