Criterion - The Unbearable Lightness of Being - Bootleg?

I have just bought a copy of Criterion - The Unbearable Lightness of Being from Ebay. I wonder if I have purchased a bootleg copy?
The dvd goes straight in to play movie, no copyright notice - the first I've ever seen this.
I thought this version of the film supposedly had cracking transfer - or is it just that the standard one had a very lousy transfer? Just flicking through to check disc, I noticed that in dark areas of the picture every so often there are tiny pinpoints of white. This is on a 36"crt.
Any one who has this disc able to comment?
