Wireless networking question.

A quick question.

The problem I have is that my PC is upstairs with my digital music server is downstairs. To update the music on the server I have to borrow a laptop to connect via USB.

Does anyone know if there is a dongle that I could plug in on the digital music server that would allow it to connect to my PC upstairs. I guess what I am looking for is two wireless connectors to simulate a very long USB cable

Thanks for the help.

Re: Wireless networking question.

What digital music server do you have (or do you mean it's a PC?)

Re: Wireless networking question.

Sony HDD Recorder HAR-LH500, so it's not a PC. Just another box with a USB port and no OS.

Re: Wireless networking question.

Unless there's some sort of hack, I don't think you can. Seems you can only transfer using USB (or load via CD).
