I've worked up the courage to share a few of my photo's, I'm very much a beginner and would welcome suggestions and feedback.

The following pictures were taken in Glasgow yesterday with my Finepix S5000, I don't like taking my 350D to work as it would have to sit in the car all day.

I've eventually managed to get out with the 350D, here are some of the shots I got today. Quite a few were out of focus, but for most of these the camera was handheld. I only used the automatic settings on the camera, would this explain the ones where the sun seems to bright?

I would appreciate any feedback, please remember I'm only a beginner and don't be too cruel :o)

I so wanted this one to turn out, but the sun was quite low in the sky and very very bright. The picture is looking over to Arran from Ardrossan.

Took a trip into Glasgow last night to try some night photography, all a learning curve for me. but some turned out not too bad.

I really do like the 4th one, maybe crop it a bit on the left hand side but keep the phone box in other than that I would leave it. Very nice:thumbsup:

Thanks for that mate, I did try cropping out the phone boxes, but thought it looked a bit uneven, with hindsight, I wished I'd walked about 5 metres further down to take the photo! It's something I'll look for in the future.
