HD-E1 selling very cheap on Ebay...

Surfing on Ebay I found this link selling lots of the Toshiba HD-E1 for very cheap prices, see sellers other items.
This particular link finishes in just under 18 hours and is currently on £122.
Bargain for someone..

Sounds very dodgy to me, usually if its cheap it a con. The description is wrong, he says it plays multiregion sd-dvds, as we have yet to find a way to achieve that then I would be very suspicious.

Re: HD-E1 selling very cheap on Ebay...

Loads of folks work from home these days, something like 10% of the workforce, me included. I have a log cabin in the bottom of the garden. However, if it's too good to be true it usually is, and I can absolutely assure you that is about 1/3 the UK trade price, so it's too good to be true. Nicked or non-existent.

Re: HD-E1 selling very cheap on Ebay...

Its an auction, if you know how ebay works most people bid in the last few minutes. It could go from £0 to £300 in a few minutes. The going price is around £300 on ebay

Re: HD-E1 selling very cheap on Ebay...

I just watched the last one he had for sale finish a couple of hours ago.It too was seemingly very cheap, but went finally for £295 plus post so not that much cheaper for what is probably a R1 american player.I was tempted but decided to pay the extra and get from amazon. I've finally given up ordering the 360 add-on from so many different places and then canceling, It really is not on for microsoft to keep supplies so limited and with no info whatsoever as to when things might improve. So this is one sale they have lost and im sure im not alone.

Re: HD-E1 selling very cheap on Ebay...

I think i would rather pay a bit more and use a genuine shop like digital direct, the shops you find the best prices for using pricerunner. 'm not saying there is anything wrong with this ebayer tho. At the moment the best i can find on pricerunner is £359, i just feel a bit safer with the warranty.

Yeah I totally agree with the warranty part. I'll be getting it from Dixons (only £7 more than DD) and although you can get them cheaper, you know that if anything goes wrong with it you can have no problems with the warranty. Ebay is a bit iffy I should guess, and I don't think I would feel comfortable buying something so expensive through ebay either. I have never bought anything for more than £100 on there before (a dvd-rw drive) in the days when they cost £100
