Just received lots of parcels from play.com with my Bond UE's. My question is, why are there only three movies with fancy slip cases? Goldfinger, Thunderball & The Spy Who Loved Me, all have very nice slipcases with embossed writing. The other 17 cases are a bit of a let down compared to those three...

Thats been happenning for a while now.
Unless you buy from a walk in store and know that you are getting the slipcase, it can be very hit and miss with on line stores.

Hmmm, I wonder can I order the slip case from the distributor? AFAIK the attaché case gets 20 slip cases so why not the individuals?

Like most special DVD releases, slip cases are only on the first few batches. You have essentially had some of the last slipcases for the films you mentioned and the others are reissued Ultimate Editions.
AFAIK, ALL of the Attache case Bonds have slipcases and the new box DVDs don't.

Fox are distributing these titles, but some of the Sony batch are still in shops, and it's these that have the slipcases. Personally I prefer the non-slipcase, with the silver lettering on the actual cover.

When I checked the cases, the slip cases are on the Sony distributed ones and the other Fox ones had no slipcases....coincidence I wonder?

Today I received moonraker from Amazon Jersey- it had no slip case either.
