Hi all,

Thought I'd pass this on. If like me, you HATE:mad: your crappy snapper (Warner cardboard) cases and would like to replace them with top quality Amaray (plastic) case versions, get some replacement Amaray cases and get over to:

www.dvdcoverart.com

This is a great site that offers top quality scans of snapper cases and alternative "custom" versions of DVD covers (mostly Region 1 as this is an American source). The custom covers are usually based on the films Theatrical poster art & are of a very high standard (as are the snapper scans) and all downloads are free.

p.s.
There is also a forum for registered members to enable you to post specific requests for scans of specific titles, join up & tell em KBDVD sent ya!

Best Regards,
KBDVD.

Hmmm... Interesting.

The Master will want to hear about this. Our plans will now need to be altered. He will not be happy.

Thanks in anticipation

Dumfy ;)

I have to say that snapper cases never bothered me:confused:

I don't like them, particularly when you spend £14-£15 on a new release and it arrives in a snapper case. Makes me feel like I've bought the budget version or something. Also, they are prone to breakage in the post (the teeth on the plastic tray have snapped off on several occasions).

But I hate non-original covers with a passion. Makes me feel like I have a pirate copy or something

I'd be a bit more tolerant of snapper cases if I could find somebody who sold replacement plastic trays for them :(

I've had one fauly snapper (teeth missing), and more than a dozen faulty amarays.

Couldn't care less about the look - I prefer digipacks anyway!

I find it the other way all my amaray’s are OK, but of the four snappers 2 have broken teeth which hold the DVD in place (that’s how they came).
The only good thing they was all purchased cheap or I would have not bought them in the first place.

He must have super sight as his shirt matches his eyes. Nice bit of colour co-ordination I´d say.

I will have to lower that total of cases with broken teeth I went in to Game today and I saw they had got a new copy of The Negotiator (one that I got last week that was faulty) in stock, as I had the old broken case and receipt they was more than happy to replace it.
Nice one Game.:)

I still hate the snappers though.
