Best bet is take a look on Wikipedia or visit somewhere like Sennheiser (link below) and hover over the tech specs which should give you an explanation;

The one to watch out for is Impedance, the ones you list are 60 Ohms and should be driven OK without an amp - The greater the Impedance the harder the cans are to drive, however, you can have low impedance cans which will not be very efficient and require a decent amp to drive them (like the AKG K701).
Unless you're not going to amp them, or are not considering amping in the future, then I would stay below the 80 Ohm mark - If ear buds, majority of consumer/high-street end stuff will be easy to drive.
