This is certainly my understanding but am I right? I'd rather buy an hdcp compliant card once they are a bit more popular and proven and of course cheaper if I don't need one just now. They arent many on offer.
Want to hook PC up thru DVI - HDMI onto 42" 1920x1080 mainly for standard def DVDs, vista for the media centre and maybe the odd game and occasional browsing. What sort of spec card would you recommend as a stepping stone to an hdcp one in say 6-12 months time? Needs to have at least one DVI, possibly 2 or a VGA output also.
