Zen are better than Pipex but for unlimited downloads I use FMN.

PM me if you want details.

They are expensive at £39.99 a month tho

Re: Help Pls: Zen Or Pipex ??

I'm with Pipex now and can't fault their non Max service, but although I've been with them for several years they will not let me switch to Max without forcing me to adopt another 12 month contract

Not happy with that and will be leaving them

I will say though that their fair usage policy does seem to affect downloads significantly at times (i.e. 90% speed reduction)

Zen have a much better reputation. Plus they are unshaped and only tie you in for a one month contract.

The link went to a search....

Here is the topic.
What to expect from PIPEX!

Ive not even heard of zen but Pipex have certainly gone downhill (for us at least) in the last year or so. Their bandwidth throttling unfortunately works well!
Im too annoyed about the 1 year contract when you want to upgrade the account, plus they wont give me a router if I were to upgrade.

Re: Help Pls: Zen Or Pipex ??

I jumped pipex's ship a few years back and am grateful. They aught to spend less money employing The Hoff to avertise their product and more improving their service. I'm currently on UKonline and am happy.
