Re: FOX/MGM BD line up

As a iminent Blu-ray owner im not exactly bowled over by these releases especially from fox. Think only predator really appeals to me.

MGM fairs a tad better for me with the likes of a bridge to far, Dances With Wolves and ronin.

Cant say the supposed onslaught from blu-ray for me at least has started but to be fair there isnt much on HD-DVD in the near future that appeals neither but thinking about it not alot has been announced with a firm release date just promises of titles sometime in 07.

At least the titles are coming now for both formats and its all a matter of opinion wether the films suit you im sure people will love the likes of AVP, ID4 and Planet Of The Apes were as i thought they are dire films not worth watching again, each to their own though as i own all 3 fast and the furious films

Unfortunately so - it would be good if they invested in getting other titles up to scratch - but we shouldn't be to critical. Alien is pencilled in for later in the year as well - but as someone has commented the odds of getting Aliens anytime soon is small. I would have preferred a four movie boxset like the DVD collection.

The same date release as SD DVD's is a great thing IMO,

although I hope it becomes the norm with both formats soon, the "when ever possible" is very vauge....
