How much for my Amps?

Right guys I'm looking at selling my 2 amps as my current car (Gen 6 Celica) isnt worth spending the sort of money a good system warrants and so I'm going back to a cheaper one amp system & was just wondering before I put them up for sale how much you reckon they'd be worth.

I have...

1 x Genesis Profile 4
1 X Genesis Profile Sub

They both cost me £350 each a few years ago & are both boxed with manuals & the crossover card for the Pro 4 is included as well.

Basically I was thinking about £180-£190 each as these are seriously good Amps, only a few light scuffs on the bodies due to being used in 3 different systems now.

So am I thinking in the right area for pricing them either on Egay or on here??

Thanks in advance

Neil

Re: How much for my Amps?

Depends on which gen they are as to the right price. The trouble is with older kit [esp subs] is that you don't know what kind of life they've had and how good they are until you hear it. Personally I'd stick them on fleabay with a reserve of that above [can always lower it if it's not met]. This will give you an idea of their value to someone else.

Out of interest there an older gen Profile 4 on there right now for £80 no bids

Oh poo

Mine are probably the older gen...I bought them way back in 2003 now.

They havent had a hard life by any stretch of the immagination.

Basically my Pro 4 was run in 2 channel mode & fed Focal Polyglass components to begin with & then moved onto running a set of Rainbow SLC Kick Bass

The Sub Amp had always run in 4ohm powering an Eclipse 8610 10" sub.

Never been clipped or overheated.

I'll probably list them up at the weekend now I guess & see what interest they get.

Thanks for the advice though it's appreciated.
