Timuss's Photo Thread

Ok i haven't posted pictures on this site so i thought i would give it a try:

They are from a variety of differenct camera's from my Canon 300x film SLR my Medion 5mp compact camera and now my 350d.

In June last year i went to New York for the first time a few pics that i took whilst i was there.

This picture was taken with my 300x but i used a fast 400 film i think that is why its quite noisy. I have run the picture through Neat Image. This was taken during the approach to Newark airport from my seat on my Virgin flight.

The USS Intrepid

Looking down from The Empire State Building

These were all over the city very weird

The Brooklyn Bridge

Thats it so far i will endevour to upload more when i have the time, comments welcome. These pictures were with my 300x and my digital camera i didn't have the 350d when i was in New York.

Re: Timuss's Photo Thread

Feel free to post more!

You know the Empire State Building, you can't actually be out in the open at the top like you could with World Trade Centre right?

Also is that BA plane a concorde?

Re: Timuss's Photo Thread

Thanks for the comments, and to answer your questions:

1) That is indeed Concorde its based at the USS Intrepid on the Hudson River, its moored there. Although currently the carrier id being renovated and will not be open until 2008 or 2009 i think.

2) The top of the Empire State is completley open, you are exposed to the elements.

Thanks for the comments, i had forgotten i had started a thread here.
