I need some help with finding a frankenstein movie, i remember watching it when i was younger with my brother, im not sure if it is a hammer version though, i remember it being quite gory but the blood and guts was very over the top,the film was also quite bright lookking,eg the blood was standing out more and the skin tone on the corpses was like that of dawn of the dead the original version, anyone have an idea.

could it have been 'the horror of frankenstein' (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0065851/). Trailer here (http://movies2.nytimes.com/gst/movies/movie.html?v_id=23156) to maybe jog your memory. If not that one, then maybe 'the curse of frankenstein (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0050280/) (with chris lee as the monster). I seem to recall one or the other being pretty OTT with the gore and bright blood :)

could be frankenstein and the monster from hell, which was hammers last frankenstein movie[ 1973-1974] the only other hammer frankenstein movies are [ working back over] horror of frankenstein, frankenstein must be destroyed, frankenstein created women, the evil of frankenstein, the curse of frankenstein. the only other frankenstein movie i could think your on about is flesh for frankenstein which was on film 4 lastnite, although im not sure wether its been on tv before.

If it was one of Peter Cushing’s films they went in this order
The Curse of Frankenstein where he started.
The Revenge of Frankenstein where he plays it more as a goodie
The Evil of Frankenstein still a goodie
Frankenstein Created Woman still goodie
Frankenstein Must Be Destroyed he’s now a really nasty piece of work one of the first scenes he decapitates someone, goes on to blackmail lovely Veronica Carlson.
Frankenstein and the Monster from Hell hes gone nutty.

There was a version of Frankenstein also with Robert De Niro in 94 where he rips heads off. There was also one with David McCallum Frankenstein: The True Story http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0070074/

Could it have been "Flesh for Frankenstein"?

This was fairly gory and bright, was made in the early seventies, and I'm sure the monster was a guy with blonde hair too.
