What percentage of your DVD collection have you watched
I and a few of my friends buy DVDs every month but we really find it hard to find the time to view all of our purchases. For example I would say that I have only watched the movies on about 75% of my DVDs. My brother and two friends have hundreds of DVDs and have (I reckon) only viewed about 25% of their collections. I'm sure that there are collectors who very seldom watch thier movies and really only see the DVD disks as collectibles. Are any of us a little embaressed to admit that most of our DVDs are still in their plastic wrapping?
Conor

Sadly, can't afford enough to leave them in their wrappers.

100% (well, almost)
I take the wrapping off as soon as I get it out of the parcel to make sure the disk survived the journey and that the right disk is inside.
Although I struggled to keep up with my initial purchases, these days I never have more than about 5 or 6 unwatched DVDs at any one time (if that) and they never stay unwatched for long anyway - I can't wait to watch 'em, I do love me movies
Anyway, that's pretty close to 100%, so that's what I voted for
What's the point of buying them if you're just gonna leave them on the shelf gathering dust

I watch them ASAP. Voted 100% though I actually haven't finished "The Thin Red Line", and I am not sure I ever will ...

I have the same problem with Crouching Turkey Hidden Doughnut which I have started to watch several times and got bored half way through. That was the one and only time that I was taken in by the forum hype.

I still have a few DVDs that I haven't watched yet, probably around 10%.
But half of these are movies that I've already seen elsewhere.
And just like Squirrel I always take off the wrapping to make sure the disc isn't visibly damaged...

I have seen over 99% of the films in my collection, although I have probably only watched 75% of the DVDs.
By this, I mean that I have bought DVDs of films I have seen on another format and liked, but have yet to watch the DVD.

.......enjoyed that, rented it thinking it was a straightforward Kung Fu epic, bit slow to start, still slow in middle, then slowed towards end.........watched it twice before taking it back.
.......oriental 2001 A Space Odyssey.
