Toshiba 28YT56B Help

Hi, I recently got a HD LCD so passed my CRT downstairs to folks, their set-up is just a VCR, DVD player and NTL analog connected to the TV. Though there are a few problems;

>when rewinding or fastforwarding a video the screen goes blue.

>when changing channel on NTL (ch6) every channel change causes a brief blue screen to appear.

Can anyone help?

The blue mute screen can be turned off, "Menu", "Features", "Blue Background"

Owners Manual (Click)...page loads with 28-32YT56_OM.pdf right-click and
"Save Target As"
