HDMI/Component splitter/matrix

Hi

I have a number of component inputs going through my Pioneer amp which happily switches the one I want to my Plasma which supports 1080 but only with a component input not HDMI but the picture quality is great from Sky HD over component.

I have ordered a Panasonic HD projector which I will use together with my other kit when I want a really big picture - I can send a component or HDMI cable to the HD projector. Can anyone recommend a box that will take the single component output from the pioneer amp and split it so that it goes to the Plasma AND the projector so I don't have to mess about with cables when using the projector instead of the plasma? If the box also supports the same splitting for HDMI that would be useful for future proofing but not essential at this stage.

Thanks

Re: HDMI/Component splitter/matrix

Have a look at both Zektor http://www.zektor.com and Gefen http://www.gefen.com they both have solutions for switching component video.

I currently use a Zektor HDS4.2 for all my game consoles into my Lumagen we great results.

Chat with Joe at The Media Factory for more details, http://www.tmfsolutions.co.uk/homecinema.htm
