I have a loft box which connects using "F" type connectors
I want to take a connection from the back of my cable box which has one Scart out
I want to spli the scart when it comes out with one scart lead to TV and the other to the loftbox
SO basicly I need Scart to Scart splitter ( if there is such a thing then a scart to aerial connection
any help would be appreciated

Sounds like you want an active scart splitter, one scart in and two out.

Then all you need is a Scart to F-Type. It's going to be a custom job, you can either do this yourself with the right connector or get one made up.
Custom Cable Service could do this, http://www.custom-cable.co.uk/, they made a scart to BNC for me. It was about £20.00, InsertAudio BNC (they also make very good F-Type), Van Den Hul VideoLink cable and basic scart plug.
Hope that helps.

The SCART signals are baseband audio and video but the F-type on the loftbox will surely be expecting to see an RF modulated signal; therefore, "SCART-to-F-type" isn't a lead, it requires an RF modulator (or spare VCR) to to the job.

So if I split using an active scart splitter
Would I best going scart to RF modulator then up to loft box ?
I have a ( Keene ) RF modulator which has yellow ( video in ) and white ( audio in )
I take it I can get a scart that will do that
Then I have a red ( video out ) which I assume that I take to loft box
Connections are all phono type

That sounds correct. You can certainly get a SCART-to-phono adaptor that breaks out the composite video (Cvbs) and audio lines.
I am surpised that the Keene modulator uses a phono (rather than an IEC or Belling Lee) socket - but I suspect that was to make it easier or cheaper to manufacture.
If it really is a modulator it should be called "RF out".
Can you post a link to the modulator or at least the model number ?
