DMR-E50 / TH50PX60 QLINK Record Questions

Hi,

I've got a Pansonic DMR-E50, I've also got a Panasonic Plasma TH50PX60. I believe that I can use 'QLINK' to give me some enhanced functionality.

What I'd like to do is, use the freeview EPG on my TV to find the program I wish to record, then queue them up like in a PVR. Then have the TV tell the DVD-R when to record. Is this possible? Also, is it possible that once in record mode, the TV will prevent the freeview channel being changed, either by forcing the TV onto the analogue aerial input, or, one of the other inputs like HDMI?

If not, what is possible?

The TV is connected to the the DVD-R on AV3 which the manual indicates is the QLINK scart.

Thanks

Andrew
