Is there any type of adaptor out there, that will allow me to dim a couple of uplighters via my pronto?

I'm sick and tired of getting up and down to adjust the lights.

Maybe an infra-red controlled, mains socket type thingy??

I use X10 to control all my home lighting. For my wall lights I use this: http://www.letsautomate.com/10030.cfm?CFID=50290&CFTOKEN=92071704 and an IR to X10 converter: http://www.letsautomate.com/10162.cfm?CFID=50290&CFTOKEN=92071704

or you could just get a cheapo IR switch from maplins but not sure if its dimable or not?

put it in a enclosure of some description, fit a couple of sockets, and plug it into the mains!!

And viola!!

i can feel a project coming on!!

Or you could use a lamp or a couple of lamps as i do then use x-10 plug in modules......
