how to measure size of car speakers??

im looking to replace my standard car speakers.

when measuring do i measure diaganol from screw hole to screw hole

or measure the speaker itself/

also the stereo is 4 x 40w so what wattage speakers would i need.

hi we have suzuki jimny and the genuine speakers are located in the front kick panels.

10 cm spekares, But having said that £100 10 cm speaker wills ound just as good as £10 6 inch speakers .

i have 2 x 10 inch subs fitted in the back so i was thinking i have enough bass

Depends on the headunit tbh. I would replace them with a 50/60 watt speaker. Again this would depend on what speakers i changed it with and what headunit is driving them.

the headunit is an aldi special lol.


the 50/60 watt is that the max rating or normal of the speakers i need if that makes sense.
