Car Stereo Upgrade - Kenwood vs Ripspeed vs Other

Hello all,

My OH is looking for a new Car stereo that will allow her to connect her ipod and also control it. Budget 130 ish at a push!

Looked at the following ones at Halfords:

http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/s...tegoryrn_31445

and

http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/s...tegoryrn_31445

but are there any better ones? Its for a Nissan Micra.

Any good review sites?

Thanks all

I think halfords is a total rip off TBH!

Check the site below:

http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/pro...t-stereos.html

They have the same kenwood stereo, MUCH cheaper, and for the budget of £130, you can get something much better.

Hope that helps

Cool thanks. Some good deals to be had there

Are they reliable? Also -where can I find reviews? Cheers!!

And is this the best model for the money (the Kenwoodone) or should she go for a Sony fromthat site? 110 is great!

They are reliable. Depending on where you are based, i think they have a couple of shops, one in tottenham court road.

Not too sure about reviews, i say google it!

I always go for pioneer myself, but im sure you will be ok with the major brands, i.e. Sony, JVC, Kenwood etc
