Mission Impossible box-set

Does anyone have a problem with the M:I box-set?

On the first 2 movies the PQ has fine vertical lines (worse on M:I 2) that you can see on some parts of the film.

Anyone else see this, or are my discs up chocolate creek?

Cheers!

Re: Mission Impossible box-set

I have the US box set and have not seen any of the lines you describe when MI is played on the HD-E1.

Re: Mission Impossible box-set

I have the UK version.

When i set the player to 720p the faint lines go away. Only happens on 1080i. All other HD-DVD's are fine at 1080i, even M:I 3. Weird!

Re: Mission Impossible box-set

I have a Panasonic plasma, too. The 37PV500.

I dont think its the screen tho, my other titles are fine. Tho i bought FMJ the other day. And half way though that, when Pyle gets the soap in the socks treatment, you can see the same lines.
