A quick question I need answering. :)

Would I be right in assuming that as HD-DVD and Blu-Ray are neither Pal or NTSC formats, this would mean there are no Pal speed up issues and films in these formats bought in any region will all play at the correct speed?

Thanks in advance.

Apologies to Mods if this is in the wrong forum.

Spot on :smashin: All HD DVD and BluRay discs - whether from the US, Japan or Europe - are currently encoded in the same resolution - 1080p/24.

Obviously note that BluRay is region coded though which may impair your playback from different regions. HD DVD is region free (for high def material).

Does this mean the UK 360 HD-DVD drive can use american HD-DVDs?
