Wharfedale 8.4: any good?

Wharfedale 8.4: any good?

How it compares against 9.5. I listened to both and relatively 8.4 sounded better. Now this could be setup issue but I really like your opinion.

Thanks.

Re: Wharfdale 8.4: any good?

Speakers are very subjective, what is pleasing to one persons ears is a nightmare to another, it is the same as all the people who keep asking for different settings on their LCD's etc.
Another issue will always be the final position of the speaker and its surroundings, too much soft stuff around will give a more muffled sound but not to any extreme and will it match you current speakers, if it sounds right to you then get it.
