Hi All
I am having my PX60 hopefully delivered on the 2nd Jan from Currys online deal for £809 with the codes. Decided on buying this model due to reading the reviews on here and also because of the great price.
Unfortunately I am an absolute newbie when it comes to setting up with kind of stuff, having only ever used dirt cheap scart connections in the past.
I have a pretty ancient Pioneer DVD DV-360 and will also be using the TV with an samsung NTL box.
I have looked through loades of the posts, but tbh am still a bit confused about the best way to hook these together would be.
DVD has
* s-video
* single yellow ouput (not sure what this is called)
*1 scart ouput
+ Optical and Coaxial Audio out
Should I just buy 2 half decent scart leads and plug each one separately into the scart sockets 1 and 2 on the plasma or use s-video for the DVD?
What is the difference between an RGB scart and an ordinary scart?
Any suggestions as the way to get the best picture all round would be much appreciated.
Thanks
