Group A: 'Here's some titbit of news about my choice of HD optical disc format'

Group B: 'your HD optical disc format sucks because of ... some minor difference'

Group A: 'no it doesn't, yours does because of ... some minor difference'

Group B: 'I don't think so, you are wrong. Mine is shiny'

Group A: 'no, I think you'll find that ... it doesn't or isn't. And it's not shiny either'

Group B: 'yes it's true. Your steaming pile of junk is gonna fail and mine will win'

Group A: 'Nope. Mine will win.'

Group B: 'read my spurious links from interweb'

Group A: 'whatever, mine is better because I have different links'

Group C: 'I own both, it's the way to go.'

Group D: 'I own neither until this is sorted out'

Group E: 'I pretend not to favour Group A or Group B but post trolling argument'

Group A: 'yeah that's right ... mine is king. Someone over on AVS forum says so, so it must be true.'

Group B: 'bah! you are so wrong'

Group C: 'Cool it down. It's great that we have both. It gives a variety of choice for us movie lovers.'

Group B: 'But Group A recon this and they are wrong'

...

...

Group A: 'Why don't you understand that my choice of HD optical disc format is superior to your choice?'

Group B: 'You are so wrong, yours is inferior and mine is superior (and shiny)'

Group D: 'Dual HD optical disc format players one day. then I will buy'

...

...

Group A: 'Game console A will save the day, and means my choice of HD optical disc format is superior'

Group B: 'Wrong, game console A sucks. It's games console B that will save the day, and means my choice of HD optical disc format is superior'

...

...

Group A: 'Game console A is more important that console B because of ... trivial difference'

Group B: 'But games console B is better than console A because of ... trivial difference'

Group A: 'Game console B sales figures blah blah blah'

Group B: 'Meh! Game console A sales figures blah blah blah'


Ad infinitum plus variations. Post. Repeat. Post. Repeat.
