EDGE Magazine Collection

I've decided to free up some shelf space and get rid of my beloved collection of EDGE mags. I've stuck them on eBay and you can view the ad here:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...tem=1556190484

Alternatively, if anyone on these forums is interested in them or the majority of them, I would be more than happy to take them off eBay and sell direct.

Any questions, feel free to post, PM or email me .

Now sold .

Yeah - not bad eh . I actually had them all but sold Issue's 1-10 seperatly a few months back. That said, Issue 1 was still sealed in it's plastic bag and had never been opened. If you're serious about selling your collection, then I could line you up with a buyer straight away. Let me know and I'll send you his email address .

Let me ponder on that one.

I have a 99% complete collection of Empire Mag too!

No problem. There was a guy who I was supposed to sell my collection to on these forums but someone else bought them on eBay before I cancelled the auction. He's after all issue's up until 90.

Who exactly is buying these mags. I threw out quite a few of them a couple of months ago. I did keep issues 1-10 plus a few others.

eBay mate - EDGE is a highly sought after and collectable mag. Issues's 1-10 are the most valueable. I've seen Issue 1 alone go for £60 . I sold my Issues 1-10 for £100 but most of them (inc. Issue 1) had never been opened before.

I got rid of mine because at the end of the day - all they were doing was taking up a lot of space and gathering dust. Plus - the EDGE of now is not even half the mag it used to be .

So how much would a complete collection of EDGE magazines be worth then? I've got every single issue and often wondered, now I need some cash I might be tempted to sell them if they will fetch a good price

Curses! I've bought just about every issue of Edge from Issue 1 but I just tend to chuck magazines out after a few months.

RDB

BTW Even though I'm a subsciber to Edge, I tend to think it's a pile of pretentious codswallop most of the time. It's reviews are the most trustable in the industry though, so worth getting just to see what games to buy.

I couldn't agree with you more. Before issue 80, EDGE was a completely different magazine IMO. From then on, they thought they were the final word on everthing. I'm also still a subscriber but won't be renewing it this year .

Edge 0

I too have all Edge issues apart from Edge Issue 0 (the pilot, for want of a better word).

Does anybody have it, and if they do are they willing to sell it to me?

Thanks,
Paul

well i did have every copy of edge until a couple of weeks ago, including issue 0, we had a leak in a pipe at work, and some of the early ones i had taken in to have a scan through got absolutly ruined.

Gutted, absolutly, gutted :

I now read them and throw them, not worth keeping without the early ones.

That's a real shame mate . Issue Zero would have been like gold dust. My subscription finished with Issue 114 which was sold as part of my collection. I'll now browse through Edge in the newsagents only .
