I have the limited edition Shards of narsil and anduril from the lord of the rings trilogy.

They were limited to 5000 worldwide and anduril sold out before it was even released.

I haven't even taken them out of the box, they are in the loft "apreciating".:grin:

Do you collect for investment, pleasure or both?

Pleasure. However I have to admit that if I could get around 5 times what I paid for them and was a bit cash strapped I would sell them.

I have around 20 swords from the LOTR trilogy, I just loved the way the swords were all personal to that particular character and the role the swords played in the story.
