What kind of television is this? It's like Restoration but with the world's most endangered animals! How did they get all these celebrities in one place thinking that this was a good idea? Like we are supposed to choose which one to save? I can't believe what I am seeing!

aye, remember first hearing about it and thinking, ok, some money will go to help a cause i have some sympathy for (wildlife) but we all know its main vehicle is making money for the production company etc......

i think HIGNFY and (if i miss the BBC4 original showing) QI are about the only thing i watch on the main 5 channels.......everything else in on either Sky or UKTV or Paramount comedy.........(granted i dont watch all that much TV in total tho, mostly films).......

Completely agree with everyone, the show was garbage - who cares what Anneka Rice thinks about Polar Bears. ITV are obviously paying Trevor MacDonut a lot of money to front this 'serious' piece of investigative journalism

They seem to have to turn every single show, into some kind of reality-junk whereby viewers are invited to "interact" (and I use that term in it's widest definition), by voting for something! The same thing happened with last nights Live Lionel Richie Audience thing, that was on around 9pm. Viewers were asked to "vote" for for which song Richie would sing at the end, out of three! Well, whoopie, bloody doo!


I think the last time I watched ITV1 was either the recent Prime Suspect two-parter, or failing that, many years ago, when ITV still had proper regional identification, and aired proper TV shows, that required a modicum of brain-power.

Michael Grade's got his work cut out for him, if he really wants to resurrect ITV1!

Not watched the show either. Thought it was a response from ITV to the BBC's superb Planet Earth shows. The problem is that the show is made with little budget, little intelligence and little viewers due to ITV's superb recent programming .

I get the impression that ITV if it continues down it's current road that we will have a 24hr phone-in channel. These phone-ins are a no more than a legal scam operated by ITV.

First I heard about this was today from a work colleague & I was speechless when he told me what happens.

I've written an E-mail to ITV today in disgust...fat lot of good it will do but I just cant believe anyone in their right mind thought this programme was a good idea.

ITV have now added themselves to my list of channels I wont watch.

Watched the first one thought it was going to be something like Planet Earth. Couldn't belive what it was about and how bad it was. Show you how low tv has got these days.
