Specifying speaker size in Receiver Auto setup?

Denon AVR-2807 receiver:

Just taken delivery of a subwoofer so re-ran auto setup.

Auto setup sets my speakers as Large. I've then had to manually specify Small, and manually alter the crossover freq to 80hz. However, this then has the effect of disabling the Room EQ Audyssey green light.

When I go into Parameter Check it still shows the speakers as being Large, depsite me selecting Small

Is this correct? Is there a way to input these speaker criteria before running the setup, or am I doing something wrong.

The Parameter Check refers to what Audyssey has selected in the Auto Setup. You can't change those Parameters unless you re-run Audyssey and it comes up with a different set of results.

You can manually change things without any problems, all it means is the green light goes to red to show that you've changed something from the original settings. Everything is still working as it should.

The system will set any speaker to Large if it has an in-room response of below 80hz.
