Urgent:-pls give me your experiences of this set top box,wanting to buy as my recorder is pannasonic, and my existing box will not allow direct recording, and is starting to act up.

i have had one for about 3 months now,very good picture from hdd pioneer recorder very easy to set up.only problem i have had it sometimes when using the timer recording it does not go back into standby other than that excellent piece of kit.
