I know this is not hi-tech but........
I would like to copy some of my old vinyl onto tape. I have a mini-system with an aux input but it will not accept phono. I believe I would need some sort of pre-amp between the record deck and the mini-system. Am I correct about this and has anyone any suggestions?
Thanks in advance

NAD-PP1 @ £40 or a Project Phono Box @ £40 is what you require sir, well if it is just for getting to a mini system. Both of these are in fact phono amplifiers which will increase the signal to an acceptable level for a typical Line Input on an amp like Aux.
