Toshiba SD-160: any good or handset-hackable?

I'm after a cheap DVD player for the bedroom. Ideally it would play the lot but I'd consider going without DivX/Xvid as long as it was multi-region.

I was in Sainsburys over the weekend and spotted they have a load of the Toshiba SD-160 for £30 but I can't find any info out about this player; it's not even on Toshiba's web site!

Does anyone know whether they are any good and whether they are handset hackable since I would assume they are R2-only out of the box?

Re: Toshiba SD-160: any good or handset-hackable?

Just bought one as a Christmas present for my sister, so not got it hooked up. Looking for a handset hack and found this link:

http://www.thedvdforums.com/forums/s...d.php?t=453256

According to this simply press 7 four times then choose 0 for the region.
