Predator Figures

Has anyone got one of these that can pass any comments ?

http://www.play.com/Gadgets/Gadgets/.../Product.html#

I want a Predator figure but, can't seem to find the right one. I want one at least 12" high. 18" would be great but, i dont think they are available. There are some new 24" ones but way too expensive.

Any other suggestions would be great also. I'm not against painting my own resin figure if it's the right one, if you know what i mean.

Cheers

Re: Predator Figures

mozzer these are really good figures. Made by Mcfarlane Toys, 12" is the biggest they do. Also available is a 12" stealth version which is in a clear plastic.
Hot Toys a Far East company also does a great range of figures, so far they have released Scar and Celtic predator which have both sold out everywhere. But these are alot more expensive at around £80 each. Elder and another version is due out very soon.

Re: Predator Figures

The Hot Toys 14" does look rather special.

Where's a good place to get this from ?

Re: Predator Figures

I don't know i'm afraid, we sold all our stock back in the Summer, and we are now awaiting the next 2 from the series.
I think Play has the celtic predator instock but they are charging £90 for it
On a side note you should see Hot Toys Robocop Ed209

Re: Predator Figures

Yeh i seen the Play ones.

Really been put off before, either because they are too small or, there's just something not right about the model.

Re: Predator Figures

I know what you mean. I think the McFarlane one is one of the best likeness models out there esp for the price.

Re: Predator Figures

We had the 4 of the sideshow Predators and they sold within days, they really are one of the most amazing Predator figures around. The box it came in was massive!
