please let me know if this has been asked before-if so I will delete.
received special limited edition of total recall today R1, it's in a round tin just bigger than dvd diameter with the supposed surface of mars stamped out. I'ts perched on half a cardboard sleeve with a semi-circular cutaway and falls off the dvd shelves if anyone walks past. any dafter ones?

I just got my copy of this today  Scary

Mine doesn't fall out everytime someone walks past, but I have to be very careful when picking it up as it just rolls out of the cardboard holder. http://www.thedvdforums.com/forums/images/smilies/disappointed.gif If the cardboard holder was just a tad tighter, would've been better.

I refuse to buy this as the tin doesn't match the rest of my collection.

I concur with you I have it also. I can put all my DVD together, but I put this one in a draw, maybe I will use a old DVD box from a cover mounted mag, and print a cover and stick it in that.
If they wanted to do a Mars tin the could have put it in either, a box that would cover it with a round window, or a rectangular hinged tin with a round window that made the tin look like it was Mars when inside.
Good DVD though.

I refuse to buy this as I disagree with Doug Quaid's political stance regarding the non-African farming community in Zimbabwe.

Mine's on the shelf, in alphabetical order with the rest of them. Looks good from the side to me. :)

How about those silly, stupid, annoying, cheap, perishable Warner Bros snapper cases? I hate 'em

Total Recall is the worst packaging I have ever seen. Open the tin without absolute care and the disc goes flying across the room. 10 out of 10 for making an effort, but a little misguided.

As the dvd has been discribed as *it's in a round tin just bigger than dvd diameter with the supposed surface of mars stamped out* wouldn't it look better in the food cupboard next to a tin of biscuits or a tin of beans.

What about films that begin with a number. Do you put them at the beginning or do you file them phonetically ?
