Harmony 525 coloured buttons and sky +

Is it possible to match the coloured buttons on the 525 to operate the sky+ coloured button shortcuts ?

Well, the ones on my 655 do, so I see no reason why the 525's wouldn't. BTW, I didn't have to anything other than tell the Harmony that it was operating a Sky+ Box.

But i cant remember exctly how. I think you have to delv into the add manual buttons bit on the remote software.

sometimes you need to go to "customise buttons" section and then map the red to red on sky box drop down etc

Mine work on my 525 and I did not have to do anything to match them.

Did you put in the make and model of the box Pace, Amstrad etc or just call it sky+ to get the buttons to work automatically.

Takes no time at all

Just go to the customise buttons page in the software and alter the teletext buttons to red , greeen etc. Works just like $ky on my amstrad box

It's a bit off topic but after a strewn of other all in one and a One 4 All Mosaic remote I've gone for one of these. Initial impressions are good but does it have a motion sensor in it or something?

Just walked passed mine and it lit up. Won't do it again now. No equipment on, just checking emails.

I belive it has a tilt feature that if you lift it in the right way the light will come on.

What happens is that when its moved (kicked, dropped) mainly near the battery while flat it tends to tun the light on. Yes it is a little bit freaky!

Just got mine yesterday and noticed today that it lit up when i placed a cup of tea next to it. Spooky .... or maybe it was thirsty !

PS. Sorry forgot to say in reply to this thread I got mine to work with my Sky HD box by using the customise buttons options and mapping teletext red to sky remote red etc. When I initially set up the sat device I entered the exact model e.g. Thomson XXXX.

Also while I was there I set exit to = backup. Which didn't seem to work properly straight out of the box.

How do you get the standby (i) button to operate each individual device? Pressing mine turns my amp and DVD on or off. Is it to do with the activities as I'm not too fussed for using them.

Also, how can you operate the volume for the TV when in Sky+ mode?

If you press the devices button a list of your devices will come up on the LCD display. Select the appropriate device e.g. TV and the next screen has an on / off option on the LCD screen.

Can't help on the Sky+ volume. Mine works my HD box fine without any changes to the customisation. Did you set the Sky+ box as a particular model e.g. Amstrad or Thomson. I set my device as a Thomson with model no. off the sat box.
