Denon Link Cable

I am on the verge of buying the 3930 DVD....but my dealer has told me that a Denon Link cable is not included. Is this so....Denon's own 'audiophile' cable is £200+ to buy Does any one know of a cheaper version?

Re: Denon Link Cable

Dealer's talking cobblers. All Denon DVD Players with Denon Link come with the cable. Ask him to look in the manual and see what's included...

Re: Denon Link Cable

i think my 3910's cable was 1.5m.....

isnt it just a Cat6 cable anyhow?

certainly looks like it...lol

Jakal, if for some strange reason Denon dont include it anymore, let me know and i'll send you mine (i think i know where it is...heh...gulp), i cant use it on my 3803, and i wont be upgrading amps for a long time now....lol

edit: altho given someone on here says they got one, i'd say likewise the dealer is talking cobblers...lol....make sure when you get your box its Denon tape isnt broken....in case he's trying to pass off a unit that was brought back for no bad reason but they forgot to put the Dlink cable in....

Re: Denon Link Cable

When I bought my 3910 I'm pretty sure I didn't get a denon-link cable included. I just recently bought a 4306 and just used a cat 6 cable to connect the two. It seems to work fine but is this ok or do i need to get a dedicated denon-link cable?

Been diddled then. All Denon players with Denon Link come with the cable included. You even get a Firewire cable with those that have Firewire links as well.

Re: Denon Link Cable

i have had a couple of players and both included the d-link and firewire.
so if the players being talked about had sealed boxes, what is going on?
the manual will itemise the included bits near the inside front cover and also denon boxes have a list of whats inside the box on one of the flaps.
there should be no reason for anyone who has bought a player to question what is supplied.

Re: Denon Link Cable

If you look in the manual or on the writing on the box it should tell you included items, one of which should be the denon link
