budget sub opinions

I've recently purchased a home cinema set up as follows:
Kenwood 5050 amp
Mission M7ds rears
Mission M7c1 centre
And my old Mordaunt Short MS2.1 as the fronts.

It all sounds pretty good, but is lacking a little in the bass department comapred with my old hifi setup which included a Pioneer A223 amp from years ago. Old, but lovely and bassy.

So, is my lack of bass due to:
1. The fact that my new amp needs a sub to produce a decent bassy note and has no bass and treble adjustment in surround mode.
2. The fact that my Missions aren't run in and are still a bit trebley.
3. Ummm... there isn't a 3. Any ideas.

So, if I need a sub, short term, I just want something cheapish (£100) to fill in the bass a bit till i can afford a REL or something. (wedding coming up, so no money!)

Been looking a the little Eltax A6 or the Yamaha YST005, beacuse I'm also limited for space.

Please help me, I'm rambling.

try and get a paradigm pdr10 £120.00 from richer suonds, it's compact gives real bass and is excellent value-you may have to 'phone a few branches to locate one but they're worth it.

I've been offered a PDR 8 second hand. Anyone know anything about those?

Is the 10 loads better?

Paradigm subs - where to buy?

Richer sounds appear not to be stocking Paradigm any more. At leat there's no mention of it on their website.
Mind you, I don't trust anything I read there.

Anyone?

RS and Paradigm

Just spoken to someone at the main Richer Sounds warehouse.
I was told that they still have one or two Paradigm subs left, but are probably not going to be getting any more beacuse of problems getting spares and stuff.

They have, according to this guy:

PDR 8 at £119
PDR 10 at £149
PS 1000 at £249

And the big servo number at £449.95.

Hope this helps someone.

I have a Yamaha YST 90 and I like it. You should be able to get for about £120 - £150.
